Just a short distance from our farmhouse lies Alba Fucens, an ancient archaeological site of remarkable charm. Founded in the 4th century B.C. as a Roman colony, the city is perched on a scenic hill at the foot of Mount Velino. Walking through its well-preserved ruins, you can admire the Roman amphitheater, the theater and the remains of the cyclopean walls that once protected the city. Rosciolo - Church of Santa Maria in Valle Porclaneta

The Church of Santa Maria in Valle Porclaneta is a hidden gem of Romanesque architecture. Built in the 11th century, it is set in the beautiful Sirente-Velino Regional Park. Aielli - Borgo Universo

Borgo Universo is an open-air museum located in Aielli (AQ), where the streets of the village turn into an art gallery. Murals by internationally renowned artists, including Okuda, Millo, Zamoc, Alleg, Matlakas, and many more, adorn the urban landscape, creating a unique blend of art and tradition. Every summer, between July and August, the village hosts a festival that combines street art, music, performances and astronomy. This special event explores and enhances the history, views and hidden corners of the medieval village of Aielli, using art and astronomy to tell the story of the area in an innovative and captivating way.

The Beatrice Cenci Caves

The Beatrice Cenci Caves are a karst cave system located in the municipality of Cappadocia, Abruzzo. They are named after Beatrice Cenci, a 16th-century Roman noblewoman. First explored in 1892, the caves have yielded archaeological artifacts dating back to the Neolithic and Bronze Age, including fragments of ex-votos and ceramics. The speleological complex includes various cavities such as the Ovìdo di Verrecchie cave and the Cola cave and is connected to the Otre sinkhole, where the Imele River disappears underground to resurface near Tagliacozzo. The area offers tourist routes that combine speleological explorations with natural beauty.
